A cable car ride takes you from the valley floor up to the summit of the mountains which in July still retain some of the winter snow.

Popular with skiers in winter, the slopes provide a challenge for walkers in the summer months. In the bright sunshine the scenery here is quite stunning.

A large restaurant at the cable car station provides for those who are prepared to brave the nail biting ride to the top in the car that rises at a steep angle from the valley. A similar restaurant caters for the less brave at the bottom end!
